In September 2009, the College Democrats kicked off the year with David Plouffe, Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign manager. He offered his insights and thoughts on the importance of young people in elections, the power of grassroots efforts, and the ins and outs of his historic victory.

Last year kicked off with a rambunctious rally to support the public option! We marched down the streets of Washington up to the White House to let President Obama know that students still supported comprehensive health care reform! We were joined by fellow College Democrats from Georgetown, Catholic University, and American University.
